Our Worship

We at Holy Trinity Church worship God according to a set order of service called “Liturgy.”  Consisting of ancient prayers and hymns, the substance of the Liturgy has been handed down through the Church since Apostolic times, some of it containing the very words of Christ.  We believe it is the way Christ taught the Apostles to worship, and the way the Apostles taught the early Christians to worship. It is part of the ordinances and traditions referred to by Paul in 1 Corinthians 11:2.  We cherish the sense of history and connection the Liturgy gives us as we pray the same prayers and sing the same hymns our brothers and sisters have prayed and sung since the days of the Apostles. The following links share more information about the Liturgy, and why we love it so much.  We hope you will enjoy reading them.
